Men Without Hats: Rhythm Of Youth

Yes, everyone has heard of ‘Safety Dance’ and surprisingly it has not gotten old when I hear this album. Remember buying this on cassette [very hissy tape but who cared], wore it out, found another cassette copy from Columbia House with !Dolby! so sounded a bit better. Bought the vinyl too after a while. This is a synthpop-nu-wave classic, and it is not exaggeration to say that I have listened to it 100’s of times and it still rings true. All of the songs are quite quirky but wonderful, not one I ever skip. MWH have released a new LP as of late, harks back to Rhythm of  Youth, good but not the original. Only released on CD sporadically over the years, ROY finally has a good release, plus on MP3 too.
